Gypsy Restaurant

The Gypsy Bar and Tavern was a planned commercial tenant improvement project located in Northwest Portland that encompassed two bars under one roof.

The Gypsy Bar and Tavern was to be more of a lounge cocktail bar with an upscale feel, while the Speakeasy was to be the opposite.

The exterior remodel was approved via the Historic Design Review process.

The intent was to refurbish the historic portico entry to the Speakeasy, as well as provide canopies at the entries and sliding window locations, further connecting the exterior to the surrounding environment.
